AAPEX 2025 Highlights: Hybrid Radiators and Thermal Management Take Center Stage

The Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) 2025, held in Las Vegas from November 4-6, showcased the latest innovations in automotive thermal management, with hybrid vehicle radiators emerging as a major theme.

DENSO used the event to celebrate 25 years of its "First Time Fit" program and introduced a new multifunction radiator for hybrid vehicles that simultaneously cools gas engines and batteries. The company emphasized its track record of delivering radiators with "unmatched performance, reliability and fitment to the aftermarket".

Hanon Systems, one of the top three global radiator manufacturers, made its first joint appearance with Hankook & Company Group affiliates. The company's exhibition featured six themed zones covering HVAC systems, compressors, coolant and refrigerant modules, heat exchangers, and electronic products. Hanon Systems reported Q3 2025 sales of KRW 2.71 trillion, an 8.2% year-on-year increase.

Industry observers noted that the convergence of traditional cooling technology with electrification requirements is creating new product categories and aftermarket opportunities. The trend toward modular assemblies and integrated thermal management systems was evident across multiple exhibitors.
